Please read this post before posting ideas or suggestions.
Guidelines
- SWS is a work in progress. If you find a particular model, texture or sound to be below your personal quality standard, please understand that all assets are subject to change. If it looks weird, or has a problem, we're probably already aware of it.
- While we are open to suggestions, you can read this mod's summary to learn what we are striving to accomplish. If you have an idea that strays significantly from our goals, its probably a better idea to suggest it as a new mod somewhere else.
- If you do not understand how Skyrim's engine works, or how much work goes into each asset, think about your idea before posting. Imagine how your idea could be created using the existing engine (IE 'Use the sword effect from the _____ to represent _____'). Also keep in mind the engine limitations listed at the end of this post.
- Think like a mod developer. Something you might love to have in SWS may not have as much appeal to others. This mod cannot satisfy everyone, so consider how many other players might also like your idea to be included.
- Don't forget that the mod team, as with almost all other teams, works for free. We do this kind of stuff in our spare time, and many of us have college and or work on top of regular life. If your suggestion calls for 900 man-hours of work for implementation, it probably isn't a realistic option.
- Please note that making a suggestion in no way obligates the team to incorporate it. If others think its a great idea, and we do as well, we'll look into it.
- If you do post, be specific. Make sure to clearly explain your idea and post any relevant links or images in order to clarify.
Rules
- Do not request that we add a specific item, character, location, attack, power, or any other thing that is not your intellectual property. If you like something from a specific show / time period / movie, feel free to ask if something like it can be added / will be included. This mod intends to make it possible for players to re-create weapons and things from Anime they enjoy, within the scope of feudal era Japan, but we cannot implement items or concepts directly. Example: "Can you include something like throwable kunai as seen in Naruto?"
- Be tactful and considerate when responding to other people's suggestions. Let us keep this community friendly and positive!
- Please search this forum and be familiar with our mod before posting. Your idea may already be a feature, or may have already been suggested.
