So one of the new Battleships Im making for Chaos is a Battlebarge. But its really hard to get the chaos parts to work with the SM ones, which has forced me to be a bit...creative.
One simple option is to just have a standard SM Barge and give it chaos weapons. But it won't look very "chaosy" then.
Another is this version. Aside from some minor clipping around the Deck and Engines I think it looks pretty cool actually. It has alot more engines than a standard BB so it will be a faster BB than SM has. And yes, this will be geared towards close combat. Some of the Chaos ships are owned by pure Legion/Warband s after all. ;)
A third is one that I can post a bit later. It looks even faster, but has less "armor" visible as a trade-off.
These ships are very similar to ships Adeptus Astartes, especially their nose, the ships of chaos are mostly pointed.
Well its the point. They are traitor Astartes after all. While they are rare they do exist alot of captured/deserted Astartes ships.
