This mod adds a new faction (DkR/Dark Reavers, the name of my gaming clan) to Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion and also enhances all weapon effects and sounds of the existing factions. The DkR faction was originally mechanically identical to the Advent Rebel faction, but has gradually become completely different.

Description

1.4.x is the latest version of the mod which completes the transition from DkR being a reskinned Advent to being a completely distinct faction. All DkR ships now have unique abilities and the research trees are completely different to those of the other factions (aside from a borrowed Advent diplomacy tree as there's not a lot you can do with diplomacy). --- 1.4.1 is a minor update which adds a few particle effects to some DkR buffs that didn't have any, as well as making some balance tweaks to improve a couple of underwhelming abilities and weaken a couple of overpowered ones. --- 1.4.2 fixes some minor bugs (related to the DkR superweapon and DkR barren planet research), and also tweaks the DkR interrupt abilities. --- 1.4.3 makes minor adjustments to some capital ship abilities to bring their power in to line with abilities of other factions with similar functions. --- 1.4.4/1.4.5 updated to work with Sins v1.80 and Stellar Phenomena respectively.
