Shadows of Fire is a mod based on texturing and modifying models. I changed large part of textures in order to give more realism. Brits now wear the real battle dress, axis have grey and tan uniforms; I have created many new units too, changing rolevariations, combining models and cutting parts of textures. I have rebalanced costs, reload times and weapons, trying to give more realism. As soon as possible i will add images and something else.

but swastikas sjould be only on left arm O.o
Swastikas (Hakenkreuz) are not Part of Wehrmachtuniform,only the Reichsadler (Imperialeagle) on the uniformjacket( right breast) had a little Swastika in the claws, WaffenSS Soldiers wear a little Swastika badge on the Helmet, but this disappeared later in war. On the WaffenSS Uniformjacket a Reichsadler w. Swastika is placed on left arm .The three Soldiers on left Side of this Picture looks more like Paramilitary SA Men .1. this Armbanderole is Unhistorical, NSDAP Partymembers uses such armbands 2. The Swastikas here is too thin, it looks more like a Finnish Hakaristi in Black. I personally have no problem with swastikas, but please stay historically correct
or you make out of German soldiers, SA men!
A regulation of WaffenSS said on the camouflage uniforms of the type M44 no markings except the eagle should be worn. Please do not overload the mod with swastikas, it would be as unrealistic as a ban on SS runes and territorial eagles (with Swastikas) in a mod like this.

When I created it, I was disgusted by the two swastikas, but this textures has only one arm, which is duplicated.
Actually that band was not used in this terms, especially in fight...

Okay, the whole thing about the swastika's: I agree. It's a part of history and you can't just delete it. But if you make them, make them right. Make the swastika betterlooking and only on the left arm.
Why you dont understand that noone on the Front used this Band . Look German Wochenschau (Newsreel) that Band were not used by fighting Troops i.e. Waffen SS or Wehrmacht , only SA , some Ranks in the RSHA ( Reichssicherheitshauptamt) and Allgemeine SS used this, but it is possible that Waffen SS Ranks used this Armband when on NSDAP Party Events or when at Home using dress Uniforms. Also i have seen High Ranks from Totenkopf SS i. e. Commander an Staffs from Concentrationcamps (KL) using this.
Waffen SS, Wehrmacht and Luftwaffe had so many nice Camo Pattern, plz create a few or mix Uniformparts.
I agree. Needs more real uniform diversity, less Swastika.
you can't really remove the other Armband......its part of the Texturing,when you texture the Right Hand,the Left Hand will be Textured also.

Easiest solution would be to do the historically correct thing to do an remove it then. Roflmao.
