The SCP-173 Mod is a modification of SCP-CB that changes the role of the player from a D-9341 to the role of being SCP-173, the main antagonist of SCP: Containment Breach. The mod is currently in early alpha, still in development, so ideas are very much appreciated :)

I tried this out last night and I really loved it so far. I liked the atmosphere and how you added these creepy rumbling noises to the character, making it feel like the entity truly is alive. I also love his top speed. It's my favorite character so this mod is truly exciting for me.

There are a few things I'd like to suggest though, or maybe the game was just bugged for me or I did something wrong:

-in many occasions, I was teleported outside the map in the intro scene, so I had to restart as I couldnt enter the map anymore. I was pretty much walking behind the walls.

-when I reloaded, I appeared in a pitch black area and had to start a new game.

-you might want to give the character a much better dark vision. He is pretty much invincible in the darkness and can move freely. Thus I'd say he can see pretty well in darkness so you might want to make navigating in areas like maintenance tunnel abit easier for the player

-he has to accelerate to get up to speed which is fine, but there were two occasions in which he was stunned by d class behind doors. He took a long time to reach them and get them killed. In the original game, he can make something like 40 feet in the time someone blinks. I literally only made a few inches per blink so he was frozen in place for way too long, not fitting the character.

-I haven't encountered fighting enemies yet but balance like in SL would be necessary. Playing as him would have to be a focus on assassination.

I'm not sure how far this version is and how you can trigger events. So far the map was empty except for the two killable frozen npcs and 939 in the basement. Maybe I'm just messing it up though.

However, I love your work. This will be awesome and maybe you'll add a victory ending in which 173 escapes into the world. That would be a fan's dream.. or I guess so...

The game is an upgrade to the other version because there are way less glitches and the detail of D-9341 being visible in the start is amazing

I found one bug, I saved as MTF was approaching me. I reloaded back by the checkpoint, but I got caged before I ran back into them.
