G-Man killed the Father Grigori, but thanks to the vortigaunts, Father Grigori survived. He goes through G-Mans's trials to take revenge on him. Continuation of the mod "Save the Monk". The game is played on behalf of the Father Grigori aka Monk.

Marked improvement over the OG. This is actually a game with surprisingly great combat that's fun to play even if it's lazy and memey as ****.
Some interesting puzzles like releasing the zombies. Clever. For a shockingly entry level mod, this one has some good ideas and sometimes even good execution! Just wish our boy Ruslan put the same effort into the rest of the mod.
OMG that Vortigaunt voiceover. Classic stuff.
Plot was just a mish-mash of existing voice lines with the occasional original line that seemingly served no purpose whatsoever. Didn't make any sense, but I'm pretty sure that was the point. Whatever, I don't usually penalize mods for bad story.
The gun has some serious heft. Gotta be a magnum with extra stopping power. Most enemies go down in one hit, even poison zombies if you head shot 'em. Lazy loading animation though. There's only one weapon in the game and you couldn't bother adding a pump in between shots? All you have is this awkward point at the ground that really sucks for timing and flow of combat.
Gotta give another nod to the combat, which was the only thing that made this mod bearable. Intense and power-tripping. This thing is like a long range shotgun on steroids. Running and gunning is reliable and satisfying. Headcrabs are a bit tough, though!
This Ruslan guy was on some hella **** when he made this. Certainly one of the mods of all time.

It's about time I get to use Father Grigori's shotgun. A surprisingly improvement over it's predecessor albeit basic mapping. And I don't feel cheated anymore, I felt empty. Like this story is all pointless.
