READ DESCRIPTION BELOW
Rise of Valyria is a new project I've been working on for some time, the scenario is based on the rise of the Valyrian Freehold some 5,000-6,000 years before the events of game of thrones. Due to the hardcoded limits of MTW2, I have decided that it would be best to have the map based solely on Essos, the Summer Isles and Sothoryos with only the Far Eastern coast of Westeros being featured. The map is complete and spans from Asshai and the shadow lands in the east to storms end in the west and Sothoryos, Summer Isles in the south and Frosthold (Karhold) in the north. All the new factions have been implemented to the campaign along with their units, strat map models, agents etc etc.
Do note that there may be some issues you might encounter, they will be fixed as development of the mod progresses!
INSTRUCTIONS ARE COPY AND PASTED FROM MY FIRE AND BLOOD MOD SO JUST FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW BUT FOR THE RISE OF VALYRIA MOD!
Installation Instructions -
Simply extract the mod to your mods folder and use the mods batch to launch the game!
How to use the mods batch -
Copy and paste the medieval2.exe in your base medieval 2 folder and rename the newly copied file to 'kingdoms'..

After doing that simply double click the mods batch - -

Important information!
You must re-apply the 4gb patch for the mod to work! The new version is very demanding, for those who don't know to how apply the patch follow these steps..
1. Right click the following file and run as administrator. -

2.Navigate to your medieval 2 folder and select the medieval2.exe -

3.Tick the box then click save. -

4. Repeat steps 1-3 and patch the kingdoms.exe also!

I tried to play it, but sadly it crashes too much, every time I tried even managing my starting empire I see the weird "textures get replaced with another one" bug and it crashes without any reason when I just do about anything.
Yes I installed the large address aware patch for the .exe files
It looks super awesome and I like the units I looked at in custom games but these problems have to be fixed before I can play the mod.
I will revisit then for sure though, so keep it up.
Try a different version of the 4gb patch, your mtw2 must be legit as well otherwise the patch wont be applied properly. I'm able to surf through the various tabs without issue. Join the discord if you require assistance.
Does this work fine with Steam edition??

If U want to stop save corruption, Don't save pre-battle, or AI turn and turn off autosave. if scripts have a lot of triggers it will cause corruption.
