Is it just a trick of the lighting or is it textured somewhat darker than the other NR buildings?
Lighting probably. I use a set color pallet for each faction that I don't really deviate from.

So, no color stripes on this like the other buildings for the New Republic?
I assume it will have them ingame.
I forgot to enable team colors in the screenshot but they are there :)
The crane at the front is a nice touch that makes it seem more practical.
