I think it looks too cramped. Change the ceiling into a glass window or find some way to let a little more light in.

Either this or replace them with custom roots and subterranean plant life and or fungi. Something similar to some of the underground areas in metro last light would work well here.

If you go with the latter idea you might wana also add some sparse to moderate amounts of bio florescent life forms as well to help alleviate some of the darkness issues.

The overall structure of it seems a bit bland. Maybe add some space and put some support columns in place so it doesn't look so cramped like Explosive_Cheese said.
