Revamp Expansion Mod (RVE) A Supreme Commander 2 Complete Overhaul / Total Conversion Mod
I realised that the previous renders were without some extra texture work done, thus I wanted to show you the better resolution versions, with some extra lights so that you can see the decals too...
Nice model Leo
is it going to be fast?
Love the model! Can't wait to see it in action. Personally I'm a legged artillery unit myself.
How does it move, just crawl?
now that i think about it, an artillery dog would be cool. cant wait to see it run around with the cannon bouncing around on its back.
maybe you could make the recoil throw the end of the gun upwards and push the back of the unit down while making it skid backwards.
i really hope those arent its final colors. i like the ones it has but itd look cooler if the parts were distinguished by color. as of now it looks like a beat up clay model, dark grey and lood recd being the only colors. color the joints lighter grey and the four cylenders glow the team color
i understand the worn look is cool but should it really be so beat up? it looks like its been trying scrooges trick when he jumps into his ocean of change.
hmmm its an artillery piece, you should give us a look at it with the cannon up. right now it looks like a really cool high damage direct fire cannon.
what about a big shell flying out after it fires?
would it be possible to give it the ability to fire directly and indirectly, depending on the terrain? like on the seraphim isles map. target a unit from long range like a sniper if it can or fire indirectly over the mountain if it has to. that would be epic and make it a unique unit.
a research or veterancy upgrade could be to give it another cannon.
the style of the gun reminds me so much of a minigun. i love the idea of having a single large gun on the back of a legged creature. do you have any cybran units on the way that feature a rotating cannon as its main armament?
straight up the weathered edges are kind of tacky but thats plainly obvious and not the final texture, im only mentioning this because if you were to make the texture look more cleaner without as many weathered edges, keep the feet and the "nozzle" or the head unit somewhat weathered. It would look kind of badass if it looked like it had teeth from a distant first glance due to chrome abrasion
Fido homage, eh? I like it.
