Republic at War is a total conversion modification for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption. The mod replaces the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. Republic at War focuses heavily on the theatrical films but also contains content from the Clone Wars cartoon series as well as the expanded universe. Players can re-enact various Clone War campaigns such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players will have the choice to fight as either the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players will have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Push forward with an entire clone legion such as the 501st or 212th or overwhelm your opponent with a seemingly endless number of B1 battledroids. The choice is yours. There are also a number of expansions planned that will add new (as well as polish existing) content.
But because its Christmas we do want to show you something from RaW itself. This are a few shots taken in game with some stuff you might see in the new Version 1.2
Dwarf Spiders! Yay!
Will u put the Advanced Dwarf Spiderdroid in the game? I know they only appeared in RC but i think they deserve a place in the mod. RC was made by Lucas Arts so it's part of the Clone Wars. And i personally like it more than these one ^^
By any chance will the clone space marines be a unit on the 2.0 mod? if not i'd think that be a great unit to have :)
I would also love some Galactic Marines (slightly better than average P2 clones, much longer build time maybe?) and Ki-Adi Mundi.
By any chance will there be scout troopers, like a battalion that fought atkashyce with yoda in the 3rd film?
That was the 41st Elite, which is already in the mod. That said, I also would prefer that they wear their Kashyyk camo armor (grey is boring and hard to distinguish), but that sounds a chore and I don't want to ask the dev team to do more work than they already are - well, mostly ;)
