That's right, development has been started back up since it's Summer, school is over, and I have free time. So instead of boring you with details of why I stopped, let's get to the real news!
I got some help!
Yes!
As it looks right now, I have 2 mappers, and hopefully a programmer to help me out.
These people alone should make the development go a bit more smoothly.
As always though I could use mappers, modelers, texture designers, sound editors, and programmers.
Development Order and Style has changed.
To help the fact we only have a couple people working on the mod, I decided to ease up the early development stages quite a bit. This might seem like the easy way out, and you are correct, but again we need help. What we decided to do was completely rid of the models (and most likely textures) for the time being.
This will:
-Hopefully prevent lawsuits (though I don't think insurance companies care about games)
-Prevent the wrong idea ("This game is using the same models!?!")
-Bring a higher quality (Nothing says quality like Dev textures!)
-Make it easier on us because the models are HUGE and scaling them down was weird looking (we know you had you eye on hugging that big hybrid!)
Things going on right now.
Right now I am personally searching for more people to fill our job positions and on the side teaching people how Source and Hammer works.
I will however, get started on the MedSci 1 remake.
The team and I will make sure to keep you people updated.
It's great to be back.
