IMO it would be best to have separate air/veh defense systems.
Otherwise you always have 1 system tied up when you have multiple enemy types attacking..
Is there any way to increase its coolness factor ?

It's a similar system to the Allied forces (one air/ground defense, one ground only). Other faction sdo split the defense up.

Wait, it says RAIL GUN but it uses GAUSS technology? That's mutually exclusive. A rail gun, as the name says, uses rails where the projectile is accelerated by sliding through them doing a connection and letting the electricity flow through it. A gauss gun (also named coil gun) uses a variety of coils which activate and deactivate the accelerate the projectile, but the projectile does NOT touch the coils.
Btw, both are inappilcable in RL so far, rail guns are maintenance-heavy and coil guns require super computers for the calculation.

"Gauss Technology" and the "Gauss Gun" are two different things.

Carl Friedrich Gauss described the magnetic effect which is used by magnetic accelerators.

Both a rail gun and a coil gun (or gauss gun) use the magnetic field to accelerate the projectile but in different ways. A rail gun, uses a conductive projectile that interacts with the strong magnetic fields generated by the rails as electricity passes through them and accelerates it. Hence both use the gauss effect to produce acceleration.

What we term as "Gauss technology" is the techology United Coalition developed that allows them to produce weapons that use electromagnetism without the great loss in efficiency.

Ok, then I misread that, jumping on the fact you wrote Gauss when it's supposed to be a railgun, because people tend to mishmash the two systems. But if "Gauss Technology" means "electrically accelerated projectile" technology regardless of the functions behind it, ok.

The weapons system is quite simple.

First it fires several series of long metal bars at a supersonic speed, then it proceeds to fire another parallel line of metal bars, after enough bars have been fired and got suck on the ground due to their massive speed a freight train is set on those metal rails and proceeds to ram whatever is on the path of the metal rails.

As a Railgun-Lover i must tell you that there is a huge diffrence between the Gauß-Model and the Railgun-Model....
While the Railgun use two stick-magnets which are paralell the Gauß uses a spiral-formed mag trough which the projectil will be fired.

I'm a nerd, HURRAY!
