An expansion/overhaul mod of epic proportions, with entirely rebalanced gameplay, expanded factions, new gametypes, graphical overhauls, and five new factions; stealth-based Confederate Revolutionaries, tower defense-inspired Atomic Kingdom of China, economy-focused Mediterranean Syndicate, DotA-esque Order of the Talon and spammy Electrical Protectorate.

Looks like mk I from WW I!! :D
Pretty cool side of conflict ;D
Leman russ battle tank ready to serve!
and im guessing that the green things are the repair devices?
Yep :)
Orhhh... When will you learn?
This concept art is parts from other concept arts done by Westwood. The turret is most certainly from the Lasher Tank and so on. Concept arts should rather be drawen from scratch. At least, give credits to the owners. =/
Concepts are concepts, whether drawn, scanned, scratched in sand, or a photo-manip. They are there to get ideas down in a visual format.
Yes, if images are going out for public consumption (uploaded on ModDB) they should be largely the artist's own work (which is the case here) or have credits where they are due (which was the case in the past).
Actually it was drawn from scratch dip ****
Timeofwar.com Here is an Image of the lasher tank! see for your self and BTW good luck finding something like this in Westwood. And If you look at the barrel they look nothing alike Now if you acuse me again under false terms I will delete ALL of your posts.
(buried)
No it's not drawn from scratch. You can clearly see that you have just cut out parts and pasted them together. That's why you left Resurrection; because I didn't allow you to do that. Don't lie or anything. 2 or more parts on that tank is even parts from the previous Cleric Tank from Resurrection. Even if this tank isn't the lasher, it's certainly not drawn from scratch. I can see bluring edges on the tank which shouldn't be there unless cut and paste. And lets keep it calm, shall we?
The Grand Cannon concept you made for Resurrection was also parts from the Proton Collider, and the Cryoship concept you also made was directly cut and pasted from the Harbinger Gunship top. It's obivous. Again, don't lie. Give credits!
I'm not posting this because I don't like the mod. The mod is great, but you don't know what you're doing.
And your goddamn point? The concepts are still solid and as they aren't going ingame they can use parts from whatever you want. On top of that, yes, these concept are mostly hand-drawn. A small amount of composite imaging is used, but so what? What's you goddamn point, it still looks good!
Arguement's over, Vike. I like his work, end of story.
The original cleric tank concept that I used for the one you see here were parts that I DREW now if you can prove that what you say is true then be my guest and post the images I stole from but as far as I'm concerned you are the liar. Oh and yeah The concepts that were part of your mod aren't 100% original but these are and I left for Simburger not because of what you said now if you want to continue this discussion simply PM me.
Besides as life goes on there are less and less ideas yet to be made Still mods looking good guys. :)
Guys This Image is 100% original nothing was stolen from other drawings as are all the other concepts on here like the inquisitor and, like I said before you can google image the lasher, tsunami, hamer, whatever tank and you wont see a tank like this out there hands down aside from the fact that it might resemble another tank due to there being limitless models Which this was based of the Mark 1 tank from WW1 or 2 I don't remember.
Don't worry man, nobody's trying to accuse you.
I'm backing up Rabid here. He showed me a WIP of this earlier, and it indeed was drawn.
I really like this and I think it fits the Order greatly (I think I've called them Task Force Talon earlier...I'm horrible with names lol). Something I may pass along to the modeler: maybe throw in some exhaust pipes; the Cleric has a very Steam-punk(ish) feel to it, and I think some pipes and such will really bring it out.
I'm the modeler and also a HUGE neo-victorian, I can assure the model got a little bit of a steampunk treatment!
It's true. He has schematics for an entire fleet of Victorian spacecraft. Frankly, I'm surprised the Electrical Protectorate aren't the Steam-Powered Protectorate... And no, that was NOT a suggestion.
It's a little too late for Steampunk Protectorate, I think. I mean, how could you possibly make Steampunk Cthulu-Icon? And no, that was NOT a challenge.
Dude. Remember Dr. Manhatten's clockwork floaty thing?
Like that. Just evil.
That is a great Idea but I cannot draw pipes at all lol but I guess I can learn Thx for the advice!:)
It may just be taste- but that looks a tad too much like the Rebels to me.
I mean, the shading of the metal looks like the rusted feel of the Confederates and the rough WW2 look fits Confederates more as well.
To me, the Talon theme is using lower tech but with strange technologies and craftsmanship far ahead of what other factions use, as well as completely optomizing each vehicle.
The rust and the bolts (mostly the bolts) seem to me to make it look lower quality- instead of the top-notch quality that defines the Talon.
As far as overall shape- it looks great, just the glowing things seem pretty exposed where they are.
Wait, actually the WW2 feel fits the Talon and the Confederates- and so does the rusted look.
