The Cormyrean Expanse is a new low to mid-magic stand alone campaign that is set in the Forgotten Realms Campaign setting and takes between the conclusion of Realms of Trinity II, ( 1607 DR ) Chapter 7 and Realms of Trinity II, Chapter 8 begins. ( Note: You do not need to have played the previous campaigns to play or understand what is going on. The Campaign is built with that in mind and should be thought of as an alternate starting point. )
The Cormyrean Expanse is rooted heavily in Suzail, Cormyr. After the destruction of Trinity, many people were forced to flee to Daerlun, Sembia. You are one of the refugees that decided not to heed the warnings of the Heroes of Trinity, and travel alone in search of work and a new home. On your way to Neverwinter, you find yourself in Suzail, Cormyr. Out of gold and looking for work, you decide to help the Purple Dragons to maintain order in Suzail while the military is waging war with Amn. Cormyr was severly weakened due to a long lasting blight, and has been locked into war with Amn over a trade dispute in the sword coast. These are truly turbulent times, and the time for heroes is now!
The story is broken up into two volumes ( Chapter 1-9, and 10-17 ).
