A mod that brings the monsters from the old game Realms of the Haunting into Doom 2. It is made for G/ZDoom but it may also work for Zandronum.
this is an update. The hydra now is capable of doing both his attacks, there was a bug which prevented one of them. The idol now makes a sound while shooting fireballs and the skeleton bones vanish instead of spinning on the floor!

But why are there completely invisible enemies?
Other question, what if this is ran with doom 1? Does it work without bugs? (as the filename has doom 2 in it)
Thank you for the feedback! yes it will work for Doom 1, though some of the monsters wont spawn since there is less enemie placements in that game, I can make a Doom 1 version. If you mean the ones that are fuzzy like the spectre, those were made like that because they lacked multiple angles like the other monsters and to try and hide that, and also to fit as spectre replacements. I can change that though. Unless there's a bug where there is enemies that don't show up at all. I will take a look thanks!
No I actually mean completely invisible enemies not like spektres. Seems more like a bug. Unfortunately unplayable right now, but looking forward to a fix.
Tho it was a doom1.wad. (sigil) Dunno if it has to do with it.
I am going to try and figure out what is causing this, I just played through the first 10 maps of Doom 2 and didn't encounter that. Are you running on Zandronum? I will try that now. Also does it only happen with the demon soldiers in the black suits, because they do turn invisible for a few seconds to give the illusion of teleport, Thanks!
Not so sure anymore if it was not on my end. I was using Doom1 to doom2 addon for the enemies. If it happens again I can tell you, but I can not test it right now.
