It is a replacement of the photo. I'm recreating using the photo.

The 'other' is a disaster. The scanner is dusty and dirty from the inside, the keyboard is dusty, dirty, and beat up. The scan appears to have weird distortion, color is off.

The photo in the 'other' is done for reference. I'm recreating from the photo a texture. Which is what you see in this picture.
Now apparently its not obvious to you, so I'll help you understand.
This texture is a WIP. Hence the plain grey background it is on.
It will have some more detail to the surface, including a spec map.

If I were to use the 'other' instead of making a custom texture.. maybe that would appeal to you, but to myself and others I'd look like a crappy artist.

If you doubt me. Google Yamaha DX7.
View pictures of it. The center panel with the buttons is a dark grey.. not green/blue.. as in the scan I did.

Then I understand but I still liked the dirty one :|. Maybe I'm a strange people.

But will you try to make the script?

The idea is nice, and you'd think it would be easy. And in fact, the the scripting part probably would be. However, in order for this to work with the scripting, you'd have to have each individual key have its own physics. So that when you stepped on one or two, they would fall down.. thus triggering a noise. However, it may be possible to do, but it would be extremely tedious, because every variation of the keys would have to be exported, and placed in their precise locations using the limited Hammer grid. Even after doing all that, which may not even work well, and would probably be 'expensive' with all the MDL collision... then there is the task of gathering 36 sounds for each key.

In a mod such as this, you will not be playing music, and would be unable to play music. Yes, perhaps you can run across keys making a very annoying sound, but I don't think it is important to the mod.
I do strive for some interactivity that isn't important to game-play.. I just think this isn't the right area to focus on for that.

I think the Record Player and TV are better candidates.
