This mod amps the the default graphics of crysis quite a bit, in my opinion it is above ultra settings, with more vivid colors and brighter scenes during day and darker during night. the dof settings are good, medium works great for playing while high gives you nice screenshots.
There are some changes to the way you hold your weapons, as in making it more floaty and dependant on direction, like there is lag. Think arma 1, you could move your weapon all arround you but did not have a fixed aiming position, other example may be goldeneye where when you were looking to the left your gun lagged behind just a little. this effects adds immersion and is specialy great without the crosshairs, even the optics are affected by it and if you dont like it you can tweak it out completely or partially.
I also heard there where changes made to the way the nano suit functions, but only on normal difficulty. I was skeptical at first but tried them. In short, it makes the nanosuit stronger, making the jump in strengt mode higher, cloaking for more time, you almost cant be oneshotted, only severely damaged, more health regen and speed is faster and drains slower. I must say I very much like the changes to the gameplay but some may see them as "easier", if you want a harder experience just select a harder difficulty than normal and you wont have what are in my opinion better tweaks to the nanosuit system.
My rating is not higher only because there is a "feature" that i cant disable, the eye blinking, it is very distracting and happens almost always when you are under fire or close to explosion blast. If there was a way to remove this Ill rate it higher
i can reccomend this mod for first time players as it only tweaks certain features of the game leaving the core of it almost intact and giving you the option of disabling the ones that you dislike.
