When you get "Regeneration", i believes there is a bug.
The background sound which is your heartbeat while the countdown, my hero always say "Ah" as someone hurt him but they aren't.
Could you help me to customize this and to avoid him saying "Ah" all the times while in Original Quake 3 Arena, it was just the heartbeat during the countdown.
Hey! Yes, Announcers voice for player names are muted because I had no custom sounds for player names. Here you can download version with unmuted player names, but it will sound like default Quake 3 announcer's voice. Drive.google.com
And what about regeneration sound, I can't change it because it's a feature of the game, I think it was an idea of game creators. If you will try the regeneration effect sound on clean original Quake 3 it will sound the same. And I don't know how to fix that. Maybe need to change something in the game code, but I can't do it, sorry.
Actually i played original Quake 3 using Ioquake3 and i didn't meet this issue.
You just hear the heartbeat as it should be but my hero doesn't scream each beat until the regeneration has ended.
So i think it's fixable as it's not like that in the original game.
I would have done it but i'm not a coder, i managed to read PK3 files and i found all Sounds.
I fixed that way the Wave From Deep announcer which were muted
But i didn't find a way for this issue ^^
Yes, I tested the regeneration sound on original Quake 3 (official client) and really only a heartbeat is heard without the screams of the character. I think it can be a bug of Quake3e client, its an unofficial client, so maybe it can include this bug. I'm not a coder too, so I don't know how to fix that, sorry.

How about testing others clients version ?
My mod pak made and will work only with Quake3e and XQ3E clients, its the most actual clients for now.

К сожалению, это невозможно сделать, потому что в игре это не предусмотрено. Можно полностью убрать мясо, кровь и следы от крови (консольные команды com_blood 0, cg_gibs 0), но сделать так, чтобы они не исчезали, нельзя. Такова задумка разработчиков игры.

Unfortunately, this cannot be done because the game does not provide for it. You can remove meat, blood and traces of blood (console commands com_blood 0, cg_gibs 0), but you cannot prevent them from disappearing. This is the idea of the game developers.
