Lately, we've been hard at work on Pulse! I finished 10 maps for the MOD and am on the 11th map now. I finished the chapter "Road Trip" where you drive in an abandoned Black Mesa minivan and you end up in the mountains after that, fighting soldiers who will stop at nothing to protect Breen's reputation. You're going through the mountains when you spontaneously fall through the ground when it breaks under your weight and you plunge into a cavern and through an air vent into a fitness facility for training in Black Mesa. That is as far as I've gotten.
If you check out the "Files" page of the site, you will notice that we have added three new downloads! Finally, I'm showing something for all that time I've been working, right? The three new downloads include our first Demo for Pulse which features a maps from the unnamed chapter when Gordon is in the Lambda Complex and two multiplayer maps recently created by me for Half-Life Deathmatch gaming. The downloads are obviously free and we encourage you to leave us feedback by click the "Comment" link below or by posting our forums at Generalgamingplanet.com. If you are experiencing any issues with the downloads, let me know by e-mailing me at legohalflife2man@yahoo.com or on the forums.
As we've been playing through the MOD from start to current finish, we've noticed some bugs. First of all, the loading point at the end of the second map doesn't work unless you load a saved game from the first map. So, in order to start a new game when the full version of Pulse comes out, you'll have to click "Load Game" on the main menu in Half-Life and a .sav file will be there for you to load to the beginning of the MOD. Another bug we've noticed is that, as you go through each map consecutively, that you start to pick up a lag and by the 5th map, the lag is unbearable. We are still trying to fix this problem as I type and we hope to fix it within the next month or two.
Those are the reports! Please continue to check our site and leave us comments!
