Pulse is a MOD for Half-Life 1. Pulse takes place in Black Mesa after the incident. You are famous scientist Gordon Freeman. In the beginning of Pulse, you are in Surface Lab A Security Complex, a lab and security station on the absolute surface of the Black Mesa Research Facility. I was working diligently on a demo for Pulse that would give the player a feel of the types of puzzles that Pulse will feature. This demo is not taken from the game, but it was specially created to give the player an idea of how puzzles work in Pulse, and how we incorporate action and good gameplay into our puzzles. The demo is called "Pulse: Puzzle Demo" and it is only one map long. However, you will have loads of fun playing it and it should take you a while to play the first time. It should be installed on Steam as it is only compatible with Steam. There are installation instructions contained in both the .zip and .rar downloads in the INSTALLATION.txt file. If you are having any problems with any aspect of downloading or installation, please contact me at legohalflife2man@yahoo.com and I will try to fix the error. I want to make sure that this demo works for everyone. Below are quick links to the download page for both the .zip and .rar formatted files:

Please be sure to let me know what you think of that demo. Also, if you have any problems with downloading it or installing it, please e-mail me at legohalflife2man@yahoo.com.

Now, it's time to get back to work on the actual Mod. We are on our 20th map, and everything is going good. I'm getting a new video card that should arrive some time next week so that will immensely help me with my Mod development. I still say to look forward to Pulse's full release in Spring of 2008, but let's see how it goes first. :)
