Province: Cyrodiil is a mod for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. It aims to create the province of Cyrodiil, also known as the Imperial Province. This creation is based heavily upon the lore describing the region in The First Pocket Guide to the Empire. Many will recognise Cyrodiil as the province in TES4 Oblivion, but you will find that this iteration is vastly different and should provide many new experiences for TES fans.

These look really promising, I like the masquerade style with the face masks.

great loving what im seing here,
BUT have you thought of porting the simplified version of Skyrim imperial armors to this mod? i mean morrowind guard armors make no sence

(seriously im like staring at a imerial armor from morrowind and im like wtf what did they try to do here? roman legionare with some kind of weird paludrons, the pants are medieval and a helmet that just looks looks it could have been made better)

No. I understand what you mean, but we are not seeking to change anything from the vanilla game. That mish/mash is pretty endearing to many people. Having said that we will be introducing several more Imperial armor styles including the city guard armors which are completely unique but designed off of a Roman style.

nevermind was just a thought :)

so you implementing all of these, or just showing the options?
8888 has the nicest helmet, and 88's breastplate is wicked, the other brestplates remind me on vanilla dragon scale armor

Probably not all, but some variety will most likely be seen.

Outstanding, I particularly love the 8888, namely how it calls back to the LaFeem armor in Morrowind.

These designs are seriously cool. They manage very well to embody that exotic feel of the native elven armors in Morrowind. I think I like the slightly more feminine, tribalistic look of 888888, the headdress especially brings about a slight native american feel. I really dig fictional armor and clothing design which manage to both feel heavily tribal, but also simultaneouly has a sense of something immensely sacred and overdecorated or high cultural about them, and the masquerade-like masks do this perfectly.

It stands in stark contrast to most drawings i found of armors in Skyrim and TES: Online, where classical fantasy badassery seemed to be the general tendency. Sadly, as much as I want to find art which looks more strange and alien like this, I'm not really sure where to look asides from the Morrowind fan community.

Description

This Elven Armor is a departure from the generic armor seen in Oblivion. It plays on the Ayleid connection to birds and tries to bring out some of the exotic feel seen from the Elven made Bonemould armors seen in Morrowind. The art was created by Revenant and is currently being translated into 3D form which I will show at a later date.
