This modification originally started out as a Defense Of The Ancients clone for UT2004, but a lot of game design elements had changed over time that it started to become its own game. I am currently actively prototyping this game within RoboBlitz, and it is actually working already (with multiplayer), unlike most other Unreal Engine 3 modifications which are all in 'pre-production' phases. It is possible that two versions of this game will exist, one for RoboBlitz and one for Unreal Tournament 3. The game is heavily team based and takes a new form of cover tactics. where as most other cover games are based on the fact whether players are in cover or not, this game looks from the perspective that players are always in cover but to what extent are they in cover? Mixed with a skill system, onslaught like map node system ... I hope this game will be unique enough to stand out against all the other mods out there.

Strategic points are points which teams have to capture and control in order to win the game. They act in the same way Onslaught uses power nodes. Their appearance looks very much like Relic's Dawn Of War strategic point. Its simply a circular platform that has flaps, in which a little post can rise up from. The post inside contains a little terminal.

There needs to be various forms of this, so that mappers have a choice in how they look like, but the general shape is exactly the same.

See how the post sort of has this computer terminal attached to it? I would like that sort of look. Feel free to add other stylistic things onto it, after all, we want to use these as concepts/bases rather than just directly lift of them.

Hi guys. I had an idea on this one. It looks like that flag thing with the terminal comes up out of the ground through the base, like the base doors split open left and right and rises up. Correct me if I am wrong. But if not I think that would be cool to add to it. I also got some concept art for computer panels and some interesting shapes for devices. This is just a thought. I know you already got this assigned to you Big_O, I just thought possibly this concept art might come in handy.

The way the strategic point works is corect Agent-X, but the modeller is free to come up with how they would like it to function, however I would still like to retain a visual cue as to how a strategic point is building as well as a bar.
