An MI5 operation has uncovered a weapon smuggling operation that has ties to Northern Russia. It now appears that our friends on the other side of the Thames won't be able to handle the entire operation on their own. You leave for Arkhangelsk tonight, 007. A supply truck is en-route to the location and we need you to intercept it when it arrives. We also need proof of the syndicate's activities so be on the lookout for a copy of their shipping records. I shouldn't have to remind you that Q expects you to bring back your equipment in usable condition. Good luck, Bond. - M

Description

Hope that shotgun wasn't loaded with rock salt, James...

Originally only found while using the "All Guns" cheat in GoldenEye 007, Bond makes use of the Remington 870 here to take out a Special Forces guard during his virtual reality evaluation in Q-Lab VR.

In Project: GoldenEye (first found in v2.0), the Shotgun has not only been renamed, but the statistics have also been modified. The Remington 870 has had its damage, accuracy, recoil, and loudness increased. However, it now has to be reloaded after every shot.

Meanwhile, the Automatic Shotgun has been setup to be a full automatic weapon, which means you can hold down the trigger to shoot. However, the damage and accuracy has been decreased. We felt this helped to strike a good balance between the two weapons. The regular shotgun is more powerful and accurate but you need to reload after each shot, while the automatic shotgun shoots fully automatic but at the expense of accuracy and damage.
