While game doesn't have a set "reach this or crash" limit on poly count, EX3D will cause it to freeze or lock up when allocated video memories are exceeded with poly counts.
Buildings should have no more than 3,000 to 5,000 polygons. Units should stop at 15,000 max. While game will still work at higher polys, between particle effects (which btw also generate tris) and excessive polygon objects, it will freeze rather quickly.
Thanks for the comment, I understand that, this is really to show the layout, the entire mesh will be split up into 5,000 poly segments and will be placed in this layout in WICed.
Looks great, guys.
You certainly packed a ton of detail into it.
EPIC!
holy **** how many polys and tris?
Very, very high.
You may need to watch the poly count.
