black mesa is the rival of apeture science and it is also a story mod like half-life 1 portal but now they
there will be a demo of this mod soon
this mod will have the textures of half-life 1 and also the sounds of half-life 1
and this will be a story mod .

P.S please i dont want anybody to tell me to change the textures my idea was to change the old aperture science labs I made it to be in the half-life 1 world not portals

i am gonna say
you don't need mods
just move textures scripts and weapons and sound
edit it a bit
and then put them into hl1 source
(ask modder for further info)(i am not 1)
It is impossible to move in the portal gun without editing the game's binaries
