Nope. This faction uses Separatist technology, yes, but it is in no way affiliated with the CIS.

Good guess, but nope (although I might add the CSA in the future...hmm).
Consortium?
The Zann Consortium is already in the mod, and they use the exact same units from FoC. This is a different faction.

Lok Revenants, Smugglers' Alliance, or maybe Rogue Jedi such as Rohm Kota, who worked from the shadows against the Empire?
Rogue Jedi could use stolen tech, and whatever Clone Wars era ships & units they had prior to Order 66; there are many accounts in the Star Wars universe of rogue Jedi... :-)

It's none of these. I'll give a hint and say that it's not related to any of the CIS subfactions.

All the factions you mentioned are already in the game. This faction is entirely new to PvM.

No to the first. As to the second...it was planned to be in one other mod, but I don't think he ever got around to finishing it.

If you (or anyone else) guesses a letter, I'll put it in as sort of a hangman-style guessing game.
The new faction will be another minor faction. PvM will not have a fourth playable faction until after the 1.0 release. At that point, I may choose to convert one of the existing minor factions into a full-fledged major faction. I do not want to do that at this time because of the sheer amount of work it would take and the unfinished business with the rest of the mod. It's called Pirates vs. Mandalorians, after all, and I want to make sure the Pirates, Empire, and Mandalorians are in great shape before I move on to anyone else.

Well, you were wrong about the other mod not finishing it. :P SSW's main third faction is the Droid Empire.

You know, when i looked to b2 battle droid on wookiepedia, and looked at the affiliation, i did see ig-88's droid army. But that didnt fit.
"Droid Revolution" does fit lol. I chose that terminology as more representative of the entire movement ("army" doesn't include ships).
