Is it only of the Rohan + Isengard areas so far?
Yes, this time map represents more realistic scale, so it contains only area from Isen river (*what remains of Isen river) in the west, to river Entwash in the east, with a sma-a-al piece of Anduin, and from Fangorn in the north to White Mountines in the south.
BU-U-UT there will be representations for men of Dale, Gondor, and dwarwes of Erebor, aswell as for band of Mordor orcs and some e-e-evil men from exotic lands, that accompany them. ^^
I guess closer to weekend will be a rush of a fresh screens, since I had such an unbridled spill of info. =ω=
...but just so you don't worry: obviously, there will be other maps, with other notable areas of Middle Earth.
Call me ambitious, but I'm hoping for making of Pelennor Fields, Dale, Eriador, and maybe even Mordor and South Gondor, at least. Maybe Mirkwood. Luckly, all these locations can contain variety of pretty interesting cities, landmarks and good and evil factions...

Well, there no events planned - for now - though, nobody forbids you from ~forming~ groups already, gathering possible clans and such stuff.
