Something....odd has happened. When I did a preliminary test of the mod (like I always do before I do some serious coding), nothing quite worked like I had left it the night before. The third-person views are especially strange (which was not too alarming; I had neglected third-person while working out the fire and alt-fire code).
But what was even more strange was the inconsistent operation of the weapons themselves. Every once in a while, they would just "disappear", and I would end up with tons of entries in the game log about missing SkeletalMesh links and whatnot. Also, the animations were sketchy, the fire rates irregular, and the sounds less than cool. Not good.
I will not stop the BetaV2 release because of this, but I am starting from scratch again on all the weapons. My hope is that I can get them all fixed before the release date, but even if I don't, a good package will still be available.
