Articles - Opposing Force : Combine mod for Half-Life 2

Different Soldier, Different Army, Same Mission. Gordon Freeman. In this modification you will take the place of a Combine Elite. Your role will be to lead combine forces into battle and in the aid to capture Freeman. You will crush all rebel forces in your way. You will also be able to see what its like to be a real combine officer doing their duties. You will have a high clearance level, so you can look around and see some things. You will be able to drive an Armored Personnel Carrier (aka APC) You will be able to use various weapons including the basic combine weapons, and any other good weapons we can come up with. (Possibly Manhacks) It will follow the half-life 2 storyline but branch off into its own adventure. We will try to keep it as close to the Half-Life 2 story and are always open to new suggestions.
