The game takes place in the eve of the Seven Hour War. Fighting against blood shedding synths and frightening aliens, Adrian Shephard has to struggle his way with his fellow comrades from the Phoenix Command, with the main objective of stopping the construction of a Combine Citadel. In his journey he will find what has happened to the world, moments before the Seven Hour War.

Not bad. Not bad at all. The detail on the roofs looks nice, but for some reason, it still looks rather empty along the right side and the other surrounding areas, probably because of the lack of 3d skybox in the background.
No matter, for a work in progress, it's looking very good.
yup i didn't add a 3d skybox yet. i can't yet because it's me and steve-o working on the same map. i'm doing a half and he's doing the other, so we get it done faster (since the team will push for a city chapter release who knows when).
but i'll be sure to update you guys with more of this nice little town. thanks for the criticism.

The title Urban Chaos and the roof remind me of ps2 game "Urban Chaos: Riot Responses" where one of the level is happen in roof too. :D
The texture is good, none the less. The window should be cracked and shattered.
Man, I just can't wait to play this mission. So few mods get city-styled enviornments right, and even fewer do well when trying to make rooftop combat. I have the feeling that this is going to nail both...
Map is a little darker than usual. But anyways, good job on the map.

If you want it to look even better, believe it or not, just some very light displacements on the edges of the rooftop floor will add a lot to the scene.

Is the texture for the far windows a place holder? It seems far too bright for the atmosphere of the level. It would be fine if it looked like lights are on inside, but it just looks like a bright blue square. If you ARE going for a lights inside look, make sure to mix it up, not every light would be on. Other than that it looks great, can't wait to see more of the level.
Quite a great job you did here. It's pretty simple but I like it so far. I can't really point it out, but something isn't right in this roof.

looks amazing. Only suggestion is making the sky texture not black. Usually when an enemy is between the player and black sky they blend in, making it annoyingly difficult to hit, unless you plan to have no enemies against the sky. Plus I really think a bit more orange even if faint would look a bit better.
looks great, but is it possible to use some more different textures of buildings? I mean not all should be with brown break - gray, yellow or other colors are welcome. I mean the US architecture is more variable then Europe one, it is like a mix of stuff, palace or plaza could situate close to some sort of shelter or poor building. BEcuase right now this picture reminds me some mods for HL1 with its textures of only red break.
ANd as you said yeah this is beta right? I mean later you could to add some burning helicopter on its roof or some crates to remove its emptiness.
