The game takes place in the eve of the Seven Hour War. Fighting against blood shedding synths and frightening aliens, Adrian Shephard has to struggle his way with his fellow comrades from the Phoenix Command, with the main objective of stopping the construction of a Combine Citadel. In his journey he will find what has happened to the world, moments before the Seven Hour War.
After surviving the gloomy tunnels of the canals, Shephard finds himself in the highly infested undergrounds of City 14. Now, it is his mission to flee the Sewers and reach the outskirts.

Players tend not to like things that unfairly pop up at them. Maybe though.
That barnacle, IS RED AS HELL !!!!! Probably that barnacle ate gman ^^
yep, barnacle is too red.
The barnacle is "redder" than normal for two reasons:
1. We wanted to stick with the original HL1 barnacle colour and at the same time, with the HL2 barnacle style.
2. We're using the same texture for the barnacle NPC and the barnacle WEAPON. So it's pretty much really high-res, that, unintentionally, made it a bit more red.
I think it is a good idea. :D
