We're back with more progress on Half-Life Beyond, project officially turns 1 year old today! work is well underway for the next singleplayer level, however it still needs a bit more work before it will be ready along with the next update, in the meantime here's a couple of details about what will be included in that update to tide you over, but first:

Starting with the next update there will be a proper way to obtain crystals for your suit upgrades, as well as save your personal best time so you can replay the xen relays as many times as you like and see if you can beat them as fast as you can:

Next update also introduces the ability to transition between levels without losing your character's progress (stats, items...etc) or progress made in each level, make sure to use any Suit Mod Station you come across to save your progress up to whatever point you reach!

Plus the usual QoL additions, a small multiplayer quality-of-life improvement:

If a level has more than one exit, the game now registers each level players attempt to reach and lets them decide which one to go to after every player finishes the level. if all players take the same exit, no vote will occur and the game will auto advance to that exit's level.
