Sorry guys, but I wasn't able to get the scale I wanted out of the starforge, if I made it any bigger it'd go over the max size of the map. Now an interdictor doesn't entirely fit into the top dry dock as I promised, my appologies for the false promises. I'll try harder next time.
If you press view original, and look really closely, you can see the small fleet engagement I set up for the previous picture, in front of the starforge in the highlighted area.
Do you remember how in KOTOR, the Star Forge droids were manufactured in a burst of energy? It would seem more logical to me that the Star Forge would use the same method to produce ships as it would to produce droids.
After all, the interior capacity of the Star Forge would have to be mammoth in order to mass produce capital ships inside of itself, but if it creates them in space the same way that it manufactures its droids, then the Forge's ability to mass produce ships makes a whole lot more sense.
This in my view, it would not be necessary for the Star Forge to be larger than screen / life, only to create the appropriate animations.
Remember how the lancet drain animation looks? If you were to create something similar for the Forge, you could make it so the energy emanates from the Forge, and where the beam stops, a ship is create.
Combine the lancet animation with the hyperspace animation styles which Spinobreaker used for the Stargate EAW game, and you could literally have a ship born of light, in almost the same style as the KOTOR game.
Anyhow, the above is my suggestion, for what it is worth.
Definitly a good idea, though I think conjuring a droid in a controlled enviroment would be slightly different than a large starship in space, even though they're both weird.
If I were to do this, I'd want the Interdictors to come out of the shipyards drydocks, though sadly this isn't possible. Honestly, even if all that did work, I wouldn't implement it anyway, since that would completely make the starforge invincible. As of right now I plan to give it several untargetable turbolasers with extremely long range and fairly high inaccuracy so it can still defend itself, and a rather large fighter garrison.
Have you tried the Star Forge II unit in Knokos's mod: "The Reckoning: The Carbonite Edition?" It might give you a few ideas...
No never played it, can you describe what it does that makes it special?
1. It is a buildable, usable unit; the first time the Star Forge was ever available as such.
2. It spawns fleets of Old Republic ships when it is in battle.
3. Since the back story said that the Star Forge was a nexus of dark side energy that corrupts all who use it, I modded the unit to give it the drain and power to weapons abilities which made it even better.
Darth Malak mentions in KOTOR that the Star Forge fed off of dark side energies, consuming those who used the Forge, which is why I decided to use drain life instead of the Force Corrupt ability.

Can you make all other ships smaller?
There's all sorts of problems that come with scaling down the starships themselves, most notably all particles have to be remade to accomodate the new scale.

I managed to install a different mod such as ROTM(Rise of the Mandalorians) just like that but I couldn't manage to get the patches to work, however when I tried to get this mod, I have no clue how to get it to work. I'm very confused, I'm like a rank F in moving files around.
