Also new reflector shield effect for the Arcus. Now all laser and ion fire is useless against it. It just bounches right off of it lol. And no shield hardpoint, so have fun directing bombers at it.
Very very nice... But isn't that the UI from the original EAW? I think I liked the older one better. Your mod though. Either way, I like that shield.
How would you get through its shield then?

Thought it was clear, apparently not:
Things that don't shoot lasers or ion cannons. Things that shoot cluster rockets, missiles and proton torpedoes, bombers for example. Lots of ships have missiles, that also works.

In other words anything that shoot actual projectile objects like missiles or rockets will get through while this thing will be completely impervious to energy weapons correct?

I think it is ridiculous, to be honest, for something to be completely impervious to firepower like that...
I think most of the people meant it this way:
It has no shield hardpoint, so you cant destroy it with bobmers.
So its shields just cant go down at all? Or only the bombers can lower them via projectiles? I read the description but I just wanna make sure I can understand this perfectly.

Basically, the ONLY weapons that can damage/destroy this ship are ones that go through shields. Like Bomber's torpedoes, missile gunships and missile frigates, or likely the Hypervelocity cannon(or equivelent)

Those shields remind me of the hexagonal shields of the Silver Tribe in the anime tv series: "Heroic Age."
