The Oakraven Forest Collection offers an experimental ‘pick and mix’ bundle of Quality of Life modlets to enhance your 7D2D experience. It is brought to you by oakraven and arramus. These modlets will be regularly updated based on feedback, and the number of modlets will continue to increase as they move from development stage to experimental release, and then to stable. Description
The (A21) Oakraven Chicken Coops allow players to receive feathers, eggs, and grown domestic chickens from eggs. To activate a Coop, use 2 caught chicks found in birds' nests.

I cannot pick up chickens to put them in the coop.
Catch baby chicks in birds' nests and place 2 in one coop. We do not pick up chickens and put them in the coop. We 'harvest' or use the chickens in the Chicken Ration recipe.
Is it possible to make it compatible with SMX UI?
Really want to use the mod...
A poster in the 7 Days forum just shared an SMX UI compatibility patch for the Cooking Stations in the forum and we linked to it. It is only one extra step to make it for the Hives, Coops, and so on.
