I'm creating this page to share various OSP assets I made for Mount&Blade; Warband. Those assets are all medieval themed and most of the times based on real historical examples, for now I'm releasing my first pack comprising around 40 helmets inspired from sources from the late XIVth to the late XVth century and some other various pieces of gear. I plan to release more assets in the future and will probably use this same page for that purpose. Credit to Narf of Picklestick, to have been an inspiration for all those years and because those use osp ressources made available by him for the community to enjoy. The assets from this pack are all open source and can be used by anyone for any purpose, all I would ask is to try to remember to credit me if you end up using them. No need to ask for permission for anything, just if you put them in a mod for warband or some other game I would love to hear about it, so send me a message. Made by Noooxy using Blender and Gimp.

Forgot to add that the frogmouth visor mesh was made by IjustWant2bPure, big thanks to him for letting me use it. Also big thanks to Aro who is a super talented modder and who helped me with the rigging for these helmets.

Description

Grand Bascinet, I made those models initialy for Deeds of Arms and Chivalry but I have updated part of my workflow since then and thought to release it as an osp using my own sets of textures. The helmet is still optimised to make full use of the DAC special shader for metal. So whenever a new Deeds of Arms and Chivalry update finally release this will be well set to be make full use of it. Credits to Narf for the Mail and part of the plate textures, and to IjustWant2bPure for his help with the plate texture set up. An older version of this is still present in the files of DAC but might be removed or not, or updated using those before the next release (their choice). Anyway look up the mod its stil a great project that even if a bit late for release is very promising. The model is fully OSP and include the layered files in case someone wants to modify it.
