This Assault Glider was used for the first time during the operation against the Belgian Fort Eben Emael near Maastrich (May 10, 1940). They were also used during Krete invasion (Maleme, 1941).

When did you date it ?
The first assault glider really used during a the battle.
Many were used too in the Vercors (July 1944).
The remnants of a DFS-230 are still visible in Vassieux.
