New Crusader Lords Mod (2023)

Crusader Lords Mod 2023 is a mod for Stronghold Crusader that brings old characters from Stronghold Crusader into Skirmish!

All 3 New Lords are complete with text, video, and voice audio! As if they were included in the vanilla game. They all have unique castles and playstyles, and are better skirmishers than the AIs they replace. The Commander replaces The Abbott, The Servant replaces King Phillip, and The Squire replaces The Sultan.

New Crusader Lords:

The Servant (replaces King Phillip)

The Messenger shown in the loading screen of the game, who we all know if you play as an ally to Rat, Snake, Pig, or the Wolf, and also appears in some campaign missions, now can take charge of his own castle! He is a cruel Crusader who's not very difficult to defeat, but still can prove to be a challenge if underestimated.

The Squire (replaces The Sultan)

The Pikeman shown in the loading screen of the game, who also acts as a Messenger to the player in some campaign missions, now can take charge of his own castle! He is a benevolent Crusader who can run a decent enough estate and prove to be a formidable opponent.

The Commander (replaces The Abbott)

The Templar shown in the loading screen of the game, also in the main menu swinging his sword, now can take charge of his own castle--and rule the desert! He is a Crusader who will swiftly obliterate any other AI character in the game, as well as any player who is unprepared for his constant enormous amount of siege troops!

This New Lord was originally created by Xander10alpha, I created a new version with different in-game text and audio in English, as well as different in-game video messages. I also tweaked the AI to use Swordsmen along with his other melee troops, because after all--The Commander is a Templar!
