Total Conversion for Oblivion: "Nehrim - At Fate's Edge" is a finished Total Conversion for the RPG The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. That means it is a self-contained game that bases upon the Oblivion game engine, but has no relation to Oblivion's lore. It is a world in which neither Tamriel nor any other TES based name exists. The continent itself on which the game is situated is called Nehrim, it is completely independent from the base game. Nehrim was developed by the Sureai Team (www.sureai.de). We have already created two Total Conversions for Morrowind, named Arktwend and Myar Aranath, but unfortunately there never was an English version of them. This time, however, we will develop an English version of the project with translated texts and German voice acting.

I have had poor performance issues with mod in the past but I have not got the greatest PC. Is there a tweak guide forum in english? I can run Fallout 3 and Oblivion on high and Nehrim only on low.

How can you have such terrible internet? Do you live under a rock? Lol in all seriousness though, for me it was unusually slow aswell. Usually a file of this size takes about 12 minutes. Instead it took 19.

I've installed it but when I run it my main menu cursor is a white sqaure

How long would it actually take to make a torrent of this file? You would save a lot of anger for people with bad connection, and we could even use the internet for other purposes while downloading. I don't know what the issue is with my internet right now, but I just can't believe it's that hard to give out a torrent file and not say "OMG do you live under a rock?" No I usually download with 1,5 Mb/sec via torrents, so stop being a jerk, at least.

It's not that large of a download, less than two gigs for a total conversion mod.

Just wanted to say that this mod is amazing -- Initially I was a little skeptical on playing a Total Conversion mod fearing lack of content...but man was I proven wrong! Sometimes you forget you're even playing a mod instead of a full retail game. Great quests (with original concepts unseen on the main game), great voice acting and great enviroments. Thank you so much for making this :)
