Total Conversion for Oblivion: "Nehrim - At Fate's Edge" is a finished Total Conversion for the RPG The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. That means it is a self-contained game that bases upon the Oblivion game engine, but has no relation to Oblivion's lore. It is a world in which neither Tamriel nor any other TES based name exists. The continent itself on which the game is situated is called Nehrim, it is completely independent from the base game. Nehrim was developed by the Sureai Team (www.sureai.de). We have already created two Total Conversions for Morrowind, named Arktwend and Myar Aranath, but unfortunately there never was an English version of them. This time, however, we will develop an English version of the project with translated texts and German voice acting.

I tryed to patch the mod, but it tells me my oblivion game is not patched to the latest verson, yet it is....
The patch says my save games can get corrupted if I continue, can I install the patch, even with this warning?
Where should I install it? I deleted Oblivion right after I installed Nehrim, should I reinstall it?
If so, why the hell wasn't any warning given that such issue may come up?

The patch will not corrupt your game. It just warns you, that your Oblivion version is not up-to-date.

You can install the patch even without having Oblivion installed. You also can use the launcher to update, if it is too hard to find the Nehrim directory. Read this: Sureai.de
So I can patch the game and be sure it will be ok, regardless of it saying Oblivion not updated?
If you patched Oblivion with it's latest patch, before installed Nehrim, everything will be fine.
OBLIVION PATCH v1.2.0416 is the latest.

Just to be clear if I have an ongoing game if I patch I wont have to start from the beginning again? It is savegame compatible?
Every patch will be totally compatible to all your older savegames.
Is the Nexus Halls quest patched? or finished rather?

Just telling you you have to go to mods and activate Nehrim and also deactivate any other mods you may have active

Hey, I've installed this Mod (English version) and the updates to Oblivion and this mod and I have an problem.
I got through the cave and the whole intro part and I just entered the world proper.
So anyway, I had a look around and I decided to change my graphical settings, so I did and I restarted the game like it told me to and now when I load up my save games all I see is grey!
What's going on? Is this happening to anyone else? I know it's not my game freezing up since I can still move about and attack (I can hear it and I can see my HUD) but I can't see anything.

i dont know if you fixed it yet, but that sounds like a graphical error. nothing to do with the mod. Id recommended reverting back to former graphic settings or reinstalling the game and mod.
Just wanna know, where do i get all the patches for oblivion? i dont find them, or they're not working. i got knights of the nine installed, and with shivering isles.Any problems? What patches do i need? Not patched the game yet.

Simply the best mod ive ever seen for oblivion, i hope when Skyrim comes out that these guys will make something epic for it aswell :)
im sure they will, seeing as modding tools for Skyrim are already being made. lets hope that modding never dies out. haha like that will happen
