When I try and download it says virus' are detected
MS Defender doesn't think that it is a virus. The Browser maybe doesn't trust the file. If you see three dots (...) near the name in the download folder in the browser you can tell it to keep the file.
If you have downloaded the file, then click on the <More Info> and you can "Run anyway" - Defender doesn't like the app not being "signed" by a publisher.
If you are concerned then right click on the file and select "Scan with Microsoft Defender" mine came up clean with 0 threats found.

REQUIREMENTS:
This file requires only v9.2 Core and v9.2 Maps to be previously installed in order to play multiplayer (+ 9.2 Campaign for singleplayer campaigns), but it can also simply be installed over previous patches.
INSTALLATION:
1. download the file *NTW3-9.3-Patch.exe*
2. place it in the game's data folder, *.../Steam/steamapps/common/Napoleon Total War/data/*
3. run it there (double-click it, the process is fast, no prompts are displayed)
4. navigate to *.../data/NTW3/Launcher3/* and run the file *NTW3 v9.3.exe* to launch version 9.3
It's advisable to create a desktop shortcut of this file, but *do not drag the file itself to another location*

Still crashing napoleon campaigns, first time installing this game and mod
When I press on the patch, I'm having trouble installing it; it remains inactive. Do you have an answer to this issue?
I was able to install the game, by FIRST making sure that I had the vanilla version of NTW loaded. Then I installed the patch 9.3 and launched the game via steam. It showed the 9.3 splash screen, but didn't have all the features, so I re-ran the installer to set back to vanilla, then again installed 9.3 for the 1805 campaign and then all the files were there. Might be a steam sync issue.

BTW I have been looking but haven't found what in the 9.3 update. Is there a fix or features list?

- staff generals benefit from much longer line of sight of enemy units, and this radius is proportional to their stars:
0-star -> no change;
9-star -> approximately the same LoS as 5-6lb artillery range;
Note: this does not apply to low visibility terrain (e.g. can't see through forests obviously)
Balance
- global rebalancing for many UK factions (pricing, stats, shooting)
- slight buff to Imperial factions' shooting, to mitigate firing delay
Hello everybody! On taken teritories, there is no option to hire army. Is that normal? I think it is not normal!
It is normal, you can only recruit in your home regions and in regions that the country you are playing historically recruited soldiers from. This is to make it more historically accurate.

Hey, when I downloaded the new patch, it corrupted my game files. Now I can't play NTW3, or Vanilla, as it's stuck in the NTW3 9.2 mode whenever I try to play the game. I've already tried uninstalling NTW and deleting the NTW3 files but it hasn't worked.
Any tips?

I have tried on a number of occasions to download Napoleon Total War 3 version 9.2 with 9.3 patch. The game does not launch via the desktop logo neither will it load via the launcher 3 in the data section. It will only play via the Napoleon Total War Definitive logo which is created by Steam. In each case I have uninstalled the game from the files, uninstalled from Steam and removed any remaining NTW files particularly in the users pathway.
I have reinstalled in the correct order as recommended in the Discord channel and even used the link there to download from Moddb.
My computer warns me that the files are corrupted. I have previously played the 9.2 version and have experienced this only since downloading the 9.3 patch.
I have reverted to playing the 9.0 version as a result which loads via the desktop icon unlike, currently, 9.2 or 9.3.
Do you have any suggestions as to why this phenomenon is occurring ?
