Project Underground is an online/offline GTA SA project that makes it possible to explore NFS Underground's Olympic city in free roam. Updates with other NFS cities are planned. Volume 1 EP (Alpha 1.0.1) is out now!
Here are screenshots of the Project Underground brand new HUD. The interface is completely done. Also at the screenshots you can see the new graphics preset and some of the mapping in the Market Street and Atlantica areas. Moreover, at the moment mapping is completed for the whole game map.
Hello everybody!
I have been absent for more than six months. The bad news is that all this time the development of the project was not carried out, as I was busy solving my personal problems. But things aren't as bad as they seem. Instead of the Beta version, I decided to drop the Alpha 1.0 version. The bottom line is that I am doing the development alone, and due to some circumstances, it will now proceed more slowly due to lack of time.
But I think it is wrong to keep you waiting so long, so on October 10 at 23:00 Moscow time, the Alpha 1.0 version of the project will be available for download. Stay tuned!
First beta will contain:
1) Fully ported extended NFSU Olympic City
2) Some vehicles from Juiced 2, Most Wanted, Carbon, Undercover, edited in the same style and using the same generic textures so it doesn't look like a default car pack from different modmakers.
3) Graphic setups for low- and high-end PC
Things like car sounds, traffic (and maybe ped) routes, all cars with tuning and online mode will be released as updates later. Keep up with the upcoming updates
Here you can see some maps. The first one is schematic plan for me to work with, while the second one is an actual 3ds max render of game map, made using Xscripts.
