Modern Times World In Conflict is a complete overhaul of the game Rise of Nations Thrones and Patriots. It contains new units, new buildings, new nations. The First Idea Of The Mod Was an expansion of 1939-1945 Second Great War mod made by NickoX, the mod take the player from the cold war era 1950 to nowadays 2020 with an historical accuracy of the technologie of each year.

SO FAR THE BEST MOD for "Immersive Modern Warfare", no doubts
Countries has more unique units than other mods, specially the military super-powers (USA, RUSSIA, etc)
Very good realism (yet things can be improved, but is very realistic)
Has countries of ALL continents and regions: Middle East, Asia, Europe, Americas (north and south) and even Africa!!
Most countries (if not all) is "representative" countries in the geopolitics of the World. For example: doesn't make sense to put Georgia or Belgium (small countries with nothing special about military and geopolitics), instead they put Germany, France, the most representative ones, and the same in Americas (USA and Brazil), Asia (China, India, Japan, etc) one African country with the last patch
Modders work constant on patch, so it's an active and live mod
The interface is different (it's a black theme, so GOOD for health of our eyes in front of computer :D)

the best mod for the modern age
This mod is big, ambitious, promising and so various and can be surely be the best one, BUT...balance is surely DREADFUL! I didn't tested every unit against any other one, but:
- IFV there can oneshot whole tank by one machine gun burst.
- Few special forces men can annihilate and capture whole city by using just assault rifles in few minutes.
- One cheap howitzer can annihilate whole expensive fort in two shot and explode about half of your expensive army in few shots.
- Tank can be easily destroyed by few cannon fodder assault squads.
This mod is great in it's core and ideas, but feels scary in balance and can be INCREDIBLE after having it in great condition.
Also that would be great to understand features of different vehicles because they're looking like "IFV, better IFV, alternative IFV, Tank, better Tank, The Tank, Regular Tank" with different stats and cost, so what's the reason to buy this, another tank or maybe advanced IFV instead?
Maybe mod started as a reskin and modernize project, but now it's mere another political-hype with prop.
