Is there a reason you use a sprite/flat model for the weapon? Also good job on the silver fish!
Well, It's more flexible than modelling a weapon per pixel, or using an angled sprite.
I can easily change the sprite on the model, and it'd stay at that angle. I can even animate the sprite too! (The Bow is a good example of this)
