If i don't ignore the flag, the concept looks like a man in a futuristic nanosuit with a medieval staff that shoots tesla shocks.

I think i prefer a little bit of Red Alert 3's Beef with more RA 2 design. Give it a shot
i kinda like the flag, and i do agree with miko, give it some more beef, this is more like an advanced exo skeleton, the soviets should have big exo skeletons for their tesla troopers, if you can keep the flag (just not on a pole that the trooper has to carry)

it would be silly to see an army holding flags ,if it was one it would be ok but also animating it wont be good and poly consuming
Unless you give 'em the capture building ability(which I know you wont), the flag has no use. On the other hand don't you think they be disgraceful because it might burned the flag just to shoot the enemy?
