Merga Music Replacer
A mod which allows you to replace the music with custom tracks during each phase of the final boss fight.

This mod is deprecated, in favour of fully featured Music Replacer Mod.

Installation:

Use FP2 Mod Installer

Manual Install:

To install the mod extract the downloaded zip file contents from the releases tab into the main game directory.
If asked, agree to merge the BepInEx folders.
mod_overrides goes into the main game folder, next to FP2.exe

The main download comes with example files, which replace the Merga fight music for all 3 phases with other music from the game.

Usage:

Easy mode:
Replace provided .wav with your preferred tracks. Keep the same names to not have to edit configs.

Advanced mode:
Run the game once after installing so the configuration file gets created.
put three music tracks that are in a supported format in to the mod_overrides folder and open the configuration file in ./BepinEx/config/com.kuborro.plugins.fp2.mergamusic.cfg with your preferred text editor.
replace the track names in the configuration file with the names of your tracks in mod_overrides including the file extension!

To maintain backwards compatibility, if no extension is provided it will default to .wav.

• Audio Interchange File Format (.aiff / .aif)
• Ultimate Soundtracker module (.mod)
• Impulse Tracker module (.it)
• Scream Tracker module (.s3m)
• FastTracker 2 module (.xm)

Known issues as of 1.2:

1. An issue which causes track to be played as static was reported, but cannot be replicated.
   If you happen upon this bug, please report it.
2. You are trusted to provide valid audio files. Broken files will generate horrible sounds, just like in any music player.
