Merciless Mod 2 V3+ Project revises a former unstable mod and aims to make it a serious contender in the modding community. Classes have weapon selection adjustments such as landmines with defuse chance, special grenades, overall firearm selection rearrangements and much more. This mod has war effects and blood mod build in. Players can pick among Soldiers, Medics, Officers, and Support Classes. Some classes having exclusive weapons.

  • Merciless 2 V3.2 Installation Guide
  • Before starting insure that you have downloaded the zip and it contains the following files:
  • merc2v3_2.iwd (cilent side mod)
  • merc2v3_2_svr_.iwd (server side mod)
  • merc2ded.cfg
  • message.cfg
  • message.gsc

  1. The follow are not needed within the game folder to run Merciless:

  • install_guide.rtf
  • readmev3_2.txt
  1. Create folder "merc2v3_2" in Call of Duty 2
  2. Add the following files to the folder:
  • merc2v3_2.iwd (cilent side mod)
  • merc2v3_2_svr_.iwd (server side mod)
  • merc2ded.cfg
  • message.cfg
  • message.gsc
  1. Note: merc2ded.cfg is merciless version of a dedicated.cfg
  2. Note: Here's how to turn punkbuster on, if you want.
  • sv_punkbuster "1"
  • pb_sv_enable
  • exec pbsv.cfg (remove double slashes in front of code in merc2ded.cfg)
  1. Executing the game via desktop shortcut
  2. Create a shortcut to your "CoD2MP_s.exe"
  3. add "+set fs_game merc2v3_2 +exec merc2ded.cfg" to your target line
  • "x:\game path\call of duty 2\CoD2MP_s.exe" +set fs_game merc2v3_2 +exec merc2ded.cfg
  • Make sure gamespy is disabled since they are defunct.
