when making the Thunderer and Destroyer tank hunter i remade the whole hull of the tank because as you can see from the old model it was beyond annoying working with all these separate parts, it drove me crazy!! also it just looked damn ugly.
so i set out to remake it into 1 solid piece and so i did. this morning i took that hull and added it to the Leman Russ model, again having to alter the model a lot to make it work since the Thunderer and Destroyer are a bit longer and higher but it came out good and I'm really happy with it. this will also make it a lot easier for the texture artist to make the textures for it.
and now i have to replace every.. Leman Russ to use this chassis, which sounds like a lot of work but all i would need to do is swap the turret and it'll be the same :)
