...in the grim darkness of the far future, there is only war.. Men of the Emperor: Burning Horizon hopes to bring the brutal, grim, dark and wonderful universe of Warhammer 40,000 we all love to the Men of War real-time strategy game franchise. With a small but dedicated team, we hope to bring as much of WH40K into the game as we can.
The Macharius is one of a variety of super heavy tanks referred to as 'second generation' Baneblades. Built by forge worlds that do not possess the STC data to build Baneblades, the Macharius (named after the legendary Lord Commander Solar Macharius), fulfills the same battlefield role as the Baneblade, but lacks most of its advanced features, engine performance and armor bracing. First developed by Magos Nalax of Forge World Lucius, there are also variants of the Macharius with various weapon systems that replace the tank's twin battle cannons.

Awesome model , as always .
Oh God-Emperor yes.
Can we have a mega-bolter version? Pretty please?
but of course :)
that and the vanquisher are planned. vulcan might take awhile but vanquisher will most likely be done tomorrow.
how many models to go till you start giving the textures
As many as the canon has until we can find a texture artist.
Somehow I think this mod is going to kill the framerate since each warhammer vehicle has 2 or 3 times the number of guns as a conventional vehicle. Very nice model though, can't wait to see it textured.
not necessarily, it's true that a lot of tanks have more weapons than standard in MoW but it's not like you're going to see 10 of them on the battlefield at the same time. especially the Macharius and Baneblade which are rare. The Leman Russ will probably be a more common one though and it also has quite a few weapons.
but fewer frames are sorta to be expected from a mod don't you think? :) (unless you have a monster rig..)
yummy
So the Macharius in a nutshell, is a cheaper super heavy tank?
In a nutshell, yes.
It's pretty much a smaller baneblade stripped of technology and a few guns.
